Award Winning Colleagues Set Sail On Cruise

A group of our award-winning travel agents set sail on an all-expenses paid European cruise in recognition of their outstanding service to our customers and members and their contribution to the overall success of Co-operative Travel.

Twenty four Co-operative Travel colleagues enjoyed a three-night, all-inclusive cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas visiting cities including Bruges and Rotterdam. The winners included Manager of the Year, won by Barbara Reeves from our Hawks Green branch, and the recipient of our Outstanding Achievement Award, Sally Vanes from the Gloucester branch.

The winning travel agents* were announced in March, as part of our annual celebration to recognise outstanding achievement and progression over the past twelve months. Our lucky colleagues were told they had won the awards with Natalie Turner, our Head of Branches, visiting them at their store so that they could celebrate their success with their colleagues.

Natalie said: “It’s really important that we recognise the continuous efforts of our colleagues who go above and beyond to provide excellent holidays and services to our customers, using their experience and enthusiasm to help make Co-operative Travel the business it is today.

“The cruise is a thank you for all their hard work, but the trip that will also enable them to provide more of the first-hand recommendations that our customers and members expect when booking their holiday with us.”
